A Romanian-Austrian company called Farola is founded to produce cooper wire, copper plates and cables for railway engines.
1935
The first Romanian metallurgical company- Metrom- begins its activity

Farola and Metrom merged under the name Metrom
1953
Begins the production of tapered pin cocks for gas cooking stoves

1974
Starts the air compressors production for ROMAN trucks and buses
1981
Air compressors for trucks, tractors and electrical locomotives were developed

2005
ROMCOMPRESSOR MV is founded through privatization of the engineering manufacturer activity started in 1974 by SC METROM SA Brasov, essentially the manufacture of air compressors for trucks and small engines for power agriculture
2019
ROMCOMPRESSOR goes through a partition process and DATA MECANIK is founded as the cutting processing division of ROMCOMPRESSOR

Today
DATA MECANIK is a 100% private company. We continue the history of production the air compressors that equips trucks, tractors, bus.
Our company also produces spare parts for the automotive, agriculture, electrical and consumer goods industries. In the processing sector we are able to produce a wide range of metal works. Beside the cutting processing sector, DATA MECANIK has an assembly shop for air compressors, engines and other various products.
